Abstract

Environmental dose values of the site area of the Oscar Miró Quesada de la Guerra RACSO” Nuclear Center are presented for the period 1980-2015. The average ambient doce equivalent was 0.84 ± 0.01 (k=1) mSv/year. No increase in the ambient dose due to operations of nuclear and radioactive facilities during this period was observed. Whereas the global annual average dose is 2.40 mSv / year, we can say that the values of ambient dose at the site are within the ranges of natural radioactivity.
